The Best Brother Ever!.
My Beautiful Sister Martha!!I decided this year I was not going to have a birthday but there are a few folks did not really read my mind.. .
Friday night after our family and friends arrived in Richmond Va for Race Weekend we went to dinner, Well,, my wonderful family decided to have TGI Friday's staff sing to me!!! I really had no idea they were stopping at my table until they actually did, I was so surprised that I think I began crying and laughing at the same time but I was really crying :))
Then Sunday morning after I just been up for ONLY FIVE MINUTES there was a knock at my door and I opened it and in the door way was a crew of family with a cake and a Question Mark Candle singing to me- get this, not only were they singing they were snapping pictured- remember, I had only been up for about Five Minutes-I had better not EVER See those Pictures!!! or anyone else for that matter...
Keith, Gregory, Gary, Martha, Scott, Ronnie were at the house when I came home from work to surprise me with a 1940 Hoosier Cabinet redone by my brother Gary. you have no idea how much this means to me..!!
Greg located the cabinet, Keith brought the Cabinet and Gary glued the cabinet and it was wrapped in love...
Gary has redone a Hoosier cabinet for his home, my sister's home and now my home.
Gary has been working on the cabinet since March of this year, he provided me with the pictures from start to finish and WOW!! what a gift.. that is when I lost it was looking at the pictures of his work in progress, that caused a few tears.
There is no words to describe a brother like Gary, he is the best and I know he hates to hear those words but it is true..
I think back on our life growing up and wonder why it took growing up to appreciate one another? what is that about anyway? we spent our time fighting and arguing with one another and now we hate to see time together come to an end, I so enjoy traveling together, laughing and the very best part for me is spending Christmas together!! Love that.. what siblings get to do that grown? see, that is a gift...
Greg located the cabinet which belonged to his future father in law- aww! my Little man.
Keith bought my treasure for $150.00
Gary recreated it! Wow!!!. This will be a part of my home until the day I die..
Thank you all for a Wonderful Birthday-Martha for feeling well enough to be here, Ronnie for the yummy yummy cake-- and Scott being here so soon after open heart surgery, Gregory for being a mother's dream son, and my other son Corey for visiting an old lady after a long day at work and my beloved husband Keith for missing golf for the surprise and being the best husband ever and Gary for his God Given Talent and most of all making his baby sis one happy woman.
Love you all so very much......
